I pray you are all well. I just want to inform you about a very sad news. The Muslim Ummah (nation) has lost one of the very great Daa’ees among the English speakers communities in the entire world. That is our dear and very beloved brother Abu Talhah Dawood Burbank who died together with his wife and other in a coach explosion in Hajj today. I know Abu Talhah Dawood Burbank for the last 19 years as a man of Sunnah who has spent all his life since he became Muslim until he passed away, seeking knowledge, translating very significant books and teaching others. I personally have not seen in the entire UK anyone like him in terms of his manners, generosity, humbleness, love to teach the Sunnah to others etc. May Allah reward him for all his works and grant him Paradise with his wife and others who were in the same coach. Please pray for them, wa As-Salaam

Asalaam walaykum
I only met Abu Talha this year as we used to go and pray at the same local masjid in newtown birmingham and questioned him on occasion regarding the sunnah of salat ..He had impeccable manners Alhamdulillah and had no problems answering the questions and quoting the hadith and telling us which books the hadith were found in!
Subhana Allah we only spoke a few times but I feel the loss as someone who has known him for a long time.inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi rajioon.even in death he’s an inspiration to the youth to strive more in seeking to please Allah..
May Allah subhana wa ta ala grant him and his wife jannat al firdaus and may Allah forgive them both Ameen
