The dirt on the ground said

Once, when ‘Umar bin Abdul-‘Aziz entered a graveyard, he cried until his eyes turned blood red. He later said, “I went to the graves of loved ones and extended greetings of peace to them , but they did not give me any answer. When I prepared to leave, the very dirt on the ground called out to me, saying, ‘O ‘Umar, will you not ask me about what your loved ones had to face?” “Yes”, I said. It said, “Their shrouds were pierced, their bodies were torn apart, and the color of their bodies changed.” It was because of that, that I cried such abundant tears on that day.”¹

About Umm Abdulazeez

"I am a Muslim who is upon the Qur'aan and the Sunnah and upon the methodology of the Salaf As-Saalih (Pious Predecessors). And that can be said in short by saying, 'I am a Salafee' " [Shaykh Al-Albaanee رحمه الله] ________ Sufyaan Ath-Thawree (rahimahullaah) said: “Indeed knowledge should only be learned for the purpose of fearing Allaah. Indeed, knowledge has been given virtue over other than it because with it Allaah is feared.” [Jaam'i Bayaan al-'Ilm wa Fadlihi by Imaam Ibn Abdil-Barr (rahimahullaah)]
