In your hearts

“If Allaah knows any good in your hearts, He will give you something better than what has been taken from you.”[Surat ul-Anfaal, 8:70]

Shaykh Muhammad bin Saalih al-’Uthaymeen (rahimahullaah) says:

When Allaah knows that there is any good in a person’s heart, He gives him all good. Allaah, ta’aala, said: {O Prophet (Muhammad (sallAllaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam)), say to the captives that are in your hands: If Allaah knows any good in your hearts, He will give you something better than what has been taken from you, and He will forgive you, and Allaah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful}. So rectify your heart between you and Allaah, and you will find all good.

Shaykh Sultaan bin ‘Abd ir-Rahmaan al-’Eed (hafidhahullaah) says:

Slaves of Allaah, don’t let your hearts attach to any sin, and know that whoever leaves something for the sake of Allaah, then Allaah will replace it with something better, {If Allaah knows any good in your hearts, He will give you something better than what has been taken from you, and He will forgive you}.”

About Umm Abdulazeez

"I am a Muslim who is upon the Qur'aan and the Sunnah and upon the methodology of the Salaf As-Saalih (Pious Predecessors). And that can be said in short by saying, 'I am a Salafee' " [Shaykh Al-Albaanee رحمه الله] ________ Sufyaan Ath-Thawree (rahimahullaah) said: “Indeed knowledge should only be learned for the purpose of fearing Allaah. Indeed, knowledge has been given virtue over other than it because with it Allaah is feared.” [Jaam'i Bayaan al-'Ilm wa Fadlihi by Imaam Ibn Abdil-Barr (rahimahullaah)]
