The Slaves Finds Himself Between Two Circumstances

  الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ

All praise be to Allaah

استغفر الله

I seek Allaah’s Forgiveness

لا حول ولا قوة إلا بالله

There is no power or strength except with Allaah

Shaikhul Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah (rahimahullaah) said:

The slave finds himself between two affairs: (Firstly) is that which Allaah does for him and that is the blessings of Allaah upon him. Therefore, he is need of giving thanks.  (Secondly) is that which he carries out himself and that is either a good or evil (deed).  As for the good (deed), he is in need of Allaah’s aid and assistance (for it performance). And (as for the) evil deed he does, he is in need of seeking Allaah’s forgiveness in order to wipe away its (evil) effects.

About Umm Abdulazeez

"I am a Muslim who is upon the Qur'aan and the Sunnah and upon the methodology of the Salaf As-Saalih (Pious Predecessors). And that can be said in short by saying, 'I am a Salafee' " [Shaykh Al-Albaanee رحمه الله] ________ Sufyaan Ath-Thawree (rahimahullaah) said: “Indeed knowledge should only be learned for the purpose of fearing Allaah. Indeed, knowledge has been given virtue over other than it because with it Allaah is feared.” [Jaam'i Bayaan al-'Ilm wa Fadlihi by Imaam Ibn Abdil-Barr (rahimahullaah)]
